  6.     RAMM is no longer FREEWARE.  Due to the complexity that RAMM has
  7.   developed, and the time it has taken me thus far, I'm asking for a
  8.   voluntary donation of $10.00 USA currency.

  11.   The donation is not manditory.  I only ask as a compensation for the
  12.   time and effort I've put into RAMM in order to help you gain more
  13.   control over your RemoteAccess Menu System(s).

  19.     a2 - (ALPHA 2)
  20.     --------------
  21.       F - Several display options corrected.  Several.  Mostly for the
  22.           display editing feature.  Should work and look a lot better.
  23.  
  24.       A - Added DISPLAY LINE editing character draw.  Pressing ALT-B
  25.           selects the "Brush" character (didn't want to confuse you
  26.           with the ALT-P "Prompt" vs "Pen" hotkey).  Pressing ALT-D
  27.           will toggle "Draw" mode ON/OFF.  Using the left arrow may
  28.           have a bug or two because of the insert vs overwrite mode.
  29.           But the right arrow is like entering the ALT-# combination
  30.           for the Brush character.  Eases line drawing for menu
  31.           borders.

  33.     b1 - (BETA 1)

  35.       A - Added OPTION LINE command lists to refer to when entering the
  36.           commands and switches on the option line.

  38.           These are the best I could do without a complete list of the
  39.           new switches in RA 2.00.  If you find any are missing or any
  40.           are incorrect, PLEASE let me know!

  42.       A - Added "Automatic Backup" switch toggle at the beginning for
  43.           those of you that don't like the extra *.BAK files (thanks to
  44.           Bob Lopinski for saying he didn't want them).

  46.     b2 - (BETA 2)
  47.     -------------
  48.       F - Mispelled "editing" and "edited" with two "t"s.  Oops.  Sorry,
  49.           Mrs. Plumber (2nd grade teacher).

  51.       F - Scroll list for menu types listing.  Type was outside of the
  52.           list box if the option index was larger then the box height.
  53.  
  54.       F - Display of semi-colon error.  Semi-colon is now displayed unless
  55.           it is the last character on a display line.
  56.  
  57.       F - Fixed COPY/MOVE menu entries bug.  Now you cannot mark the very
  58.           last line (next line/end of menu line).  Before you could and
  59.           it would mangle the menu.
  60.  
  61.       F - But that might have been okay, because it wasn't automatically
  62.           asking you to save the changes.  It does now after a COPY/MOVE.

  64.       A - Added the complete RemoteAccess Textfile CONTROL CODE lists
  65.           with a hot-key (F1) for viewing any time during a display line
  66.           edit.

  68.           These codes were taken from the RA v1.11 documentation and the
  69.           (GAMMA) release of RA v2.00.

  71.     b3 - (BETA 3)

  73.       A - Added PgUp/PgDn/Home/End keys to menu editor (non-display editor)
  74.           for quicker line locating (thanks to Don Shanks for asking).

  76.       A - Added "Grab Control-Code" feature to display editing (F1) - list
  77.           RA Text-File Control Codes.  This way you don't have to enter the
  78.           CTRL key combinations (again, thanks to Don Shanks for asking).

  80.       F - Changed the memory structure of RAMM to allow 125 seperate menu
  81.           entries per menu.  The extra 25 lines may be useful to some of
  82.           the larger menus.
  83.  
  84.           Available DOS memory required to run RAMM is now 186K (not much
  85.           at all, considering).
  86.  
  87.       F - Fixed MOVE and COPY options to allow the buffer to be placed at
  88.           the end of the menu on the < next line/end of menu > line.
  89.  
  90.       A - Added USER DISPLAY Filtering.  50 seperate user templates may be
  91.           created to use for testing menu display (ALT-D).  If a menu entry
  92.           does not match the user template, the entry is not displayed.
  93.           This may be disabled by selecting (ALT-U) the first template
  94.           (NO MENU DISPLAY FILTERING) option (once more, thanks to Don
  95.           Shanks for the wisdom in thinking it a good idea).

  97.           Adding this option required that a seperate data file (RAMM.DAT)
  98.           be created.  This file will be placed in the directory of RAMM.EXE
  99.           regardless of where RAMM is executed from.  This insures that
  100.           the RAMM.DAT file will always be found.
  101.  
  102.       A - Added FLAG Descriptions.  May be edited from the main edit menu
  103.           screen by pressing ALT-F.  These are displayed wherever flags are
  104.           used or set.
  105.  
  106.    ** A - Added RemoteAccess Caller Editor (RACE) user template/user flag
  107.           description support.  Mike Janke's powerful user editor software
  108.           is now the only place you need to set up the templates and add
  109.           flag descriptions.
  110.  
  111.           This makes the RA structure you set up much easier to govern and
  112.           modify.
  113.  
  114.           The RACE settings are imported ONLY.  Changing the user templates
  115.           and flag descriptions within RAMM will not change RACE's.
  116.  
  117.           If you modify the RACE configuration, RAMM will inform you of the
  118.           possible change the next time you run it, and will ask you if it
  119.           should import the new configuration.
  120.  
  121.           The only way RAMM will use the RACE configuration is if RACE.CFG
  122.           is in the same directory as RAMM.

  142.       F - Fixed Group and Node "User's Eye" filtering.  Apparently I was one
  143.           byte off (8 flags) when checking to see if the group was valid for
  144.           displaying to the current user template.  This was only in the
  145.           display checking, not in the actual Group/Node menu setting.
  146.  
  147.       F - Changed the Select User Template hot-key from ALT-F to ALT-U.
  148.           This was to keep me from hitting ALT-F from the normal listing
  149.           and finding the flag descriptions instead of user templates.
  150.  
  151.       A - Added <<AUTOEXEC>> lines to the menu display for any entries
  152.           that are toggled to be automatically executed when displayed.
  153.           Didn't realize I'd skipped this.  Should have been in the first
  154.           ALPHA release (oops).  It is also screened by the user templates.
  155.  
  156.       A - Added Edit Menu Entry "Apply Template Security".  This will force
  157.           a menu entry's flags and minimum security level settings to
  158.           reflect the current user template.  Only the Menu FLAGS and Menu
  159.           Minimum Security Level are touched.
